Smoky Peach-Glazed Roasted Chicken Wings

Prep time: 15 mins | Cook time: 40 mins | Yield: 4-6 servings

Perfect for event appetizers or family dinners, these wings balance sweet, sticky peach preserves with smoky spices and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken wings (flats and drumettes, patted dry)

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (for extra crispness)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

Smoky Peach Glaze:

  • 3/4 cup peach preserves

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Wings: Toss dry chicken wings with baking powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  2. Bake: Arrange wings in a single layer on a wire rack set inside a baking sheet. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  3. Simmer the Glaze: While wings bake, combine peach preserves, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and cayenne in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened into a glossy glaze.

  4. Glaze & Broil: Remove wings from oven, brush generously with peach glaze, and return to bake for another 8-10 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
